Not at all. Repetition is how toddlers learn: they predict what comes next, learn new words and feel safe in something familiar.

Try this tonight

Lean into it: pause before a favourite line and let them finish it, or ask "What happens next?" Offer a new book alongside the favourite, not instead of it.

When to check in

No check-in needed.
