Not Only You is a free community for parents of toddlers. We collect as little as possible, we never sell data, and we show no ads.
Who is responsible
The controller for this website is Not Only You. You can reach us by email at hello@notonlyyou.com. We do not publish a postal address; please contact us by email for any request.
Visitor counting (no cookies)
To know how many people read the site, our own server records each page view: the page address, the referring website, the date and time, and the country if our hosting network provides it. We do not store your IP address, do not set cookies, do not use fingerprinting and do not use third-party analytics. Automated traffic (bots) is filtered out. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding which pages help parents (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These records are kept for at most 13 months.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Railway) and DNS/network provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP addresses briefly to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
"Me too" taps
When you tap "Me too", it is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It never reaches us. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Emails and shared moments
If you email us or send us a moment, we use your message and email address only to read and answer it, and, with your explicit permission, to publish an anonymised version. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and our reply to your request (Art. 6(1)(b)). Emails to hello@notonlyyou.com are delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing and Google Gmail.
Signing in with Google or Facebook
Member sign-in is not open yet. When it opens, signing in with Google or Facebook will share only your name, email address and profile picture with us, to create your account. We will never post anything on your behalf. Legal basis: providing the service you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Newsletter
Our newsletter runs on beehiiv. If you subscribe, your email address is sent to beehiiv (our processor) to deliver it. You only get it if you subscribe, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Children
The site is meant for adults. We never publish children's names, and any future photo sharing will be opt-in and checked by a person first.
International transfers
Some providers (Railway, Cloudflare, Google, Meta) may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they rely on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@notonlyyou.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
